Born in São Paulo (Brazil) in 1953, graduated in Medicin by the Escola Paulista de Medicina (Universidade Federal de São Paulo - Brazil), in 1979. Specialized in gynecology, obstetrics and homeopathy, focused her work in these areas until 1999, when she left Brazil. Today Sueli Simões lives in Portugal, in Vila Nova de Gaia, next to Rio Douro, searching for her ancestral roots and dedicating to the study, practical and teaching of transpersonal psychotherapy, specially on the regression field.

Psychotherapy emerges in her life in 1996, as a consequence of the need to achieve self-knowledge and to better understand the process of health-disease. Her studies begin with Pierre Weil, on UNIPAZ, where she finishes the Basic Holistic Training and starts the studies on the Transpersonal Psychology field, by getting a membership on ALUBRAT.

In that very same year, Sueli is initiated in Xamanism - Transcultural Rites - in Findhorn (Scotland), with May East and Craig Gibsone.

In 1997, on the UNIPAZ Aprentices probation, in Brazilia, she finds the Active Meditations of Osho, in a week filled with intense experiences, designated Personal Transformation Alchemy. Then, she practices the meditations in the Osho Kareem Meditation Center, with Sw Deva Manik, in Campinas, receiving the sannyas and the name Ma Divyan Zia. On the same year, her course in Reiki begins, becoming a Master in 2001.

1997 is also the year of her first meeting with Roger Woolger, during the International Holistic and Transpersonal Psychology Congress, and she also attended to the first module of the Regressive Therapy Training. Graduating in 1998, becomes Roger's assistent in the professional trainings, being a "Trainer" in the technique.

By coming to Portugal, Sueli deepens her studies and personal work on other areas of therapy, such as Family Constelations, Body Process and Family Structure, Psycho-Physical Therapy, Ayurvedic Massage and Hypnosis.

Coordinator, Supervisor and "Trainer" of Woolger Training Portugal, also takes part on other trainings and workshops with, among others, Hans TenDam, Brian Weiss, Carol Bowman, Anita Groenendijke, Paul Aurand and Marion Boom. Also graduated on Michael Newton's Spiritual Regression Technique - "Life Between Lives Hypnotherapy".

Takes part in the IDMA (International Deep Memory Process) and EARTh (European Association for Regression Therapy), as certified foundation member and Boarding member.
